Praise the Lord, We are off the plane and we are glad to be in Uganda.  Russ and Sylvia greeted us at the airport with hugs and a fresh pineapple drink.

We had a delightful meal at a restaurant near the airport.    It was a great time to visit and get caught up with the Daniels.

After exchanging some of our money we drove around and looked at some potential property for a future church plant.  It is exciting to hear Bro. Russ talk about the vision God has put on his heart to reach people in Entebbe.

Russ took us to their home.  He calls it “Green Pastures”  and it really is two acres of near heaven.   I ate dinner tonight on the back porch over looking Lake Victoria.  Russ grilled us some goat and chicken kabobs.  They were wonderful.  While I was typing this blog a ross turaco (bird) flew buy and some red tailed monkeys are playing in the trees.  YES, WE ARE IN AFRICA!

Thanks for praying about our flight.  It wasn’t really that bad.  God put two really precious kids across the aisle  from us to provide entertainment when the flight started getting long.   After spending 17 plus hours on their planes I would definitely recommend Ethiopian Airlines.  I thought they did a great job at serving even the economy passengers.

Tomorrow will start early, so Rod and I are heading to bed.

It is such a joy to hug the Daniels and tell them that their church loves them and is praying for them.
