The beautiful staging area for immigration into Singapore that welcomes all who arrive by plane.

The first stop on our visit to Southeast Asia is the beautiful island city of Singapore. Depending on who you are speaking to, the city of Singapore was either kicked out of Malaysia or left Malaysia fifty years ago. ( Aug. 9th will be their national celebration) By all accounts (including Emma’s) it is one of the cleanest of all Asian cities.

I was blown away by the airport terminal – I have to say the grandeur and beauty of terminal number 3 was stunning. Best airport I’ve ever flown into by far. Brother Crocker and Brother Moore picked us up at the airport along with Brother Crockers nephew who is an active duty marine who is serving at an Asian embassy. He stopped in over night for a visit.

After a restful evening and a wonderful breakfast we spent the day active and moving (walking and taking public transit) around the city to help us deal with jet lag.

Joyful beleivers in the elevator after the evening service. The best part of any missions trip is meeting your Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Tonight we will attend the watch night service at brother Crockers church (Heritage Baptist Church). I’ll have the opportunity to encourage them to serve the lord in 2015 from Deuteronomy 8.

It has been a real joy to spend time with our host Ray and Ginger Crocker. They have deep roots as a BBFI missionary and are very gracious with their time and schedule.
