It is  now midnight and the team will be meeting Aaron at 5:00am for the ride to the airport. It has been a busy and emotionally exciting final day.

We were able to go to the market in Antigua this morning for some power shopping. There were many great deals to be made and we all enjoy the experience. From there it was a short walk over to Pollo Comperro (Chicken restaurant) for lunch.

The afternoon was spent with Sunday School classes. Pastor Heime taught the adults from Ephesians 5. There were three men there as first time visitors. We found the verses to read but for most of the group we could only pick out an occasional word or two we recognized from his lesson. The evening service had the group do another amazing job singing in Spanish. Christine, Heidi and Melissa also sang a beautiful special. Pastor Heime brought a message from II Chronicles 14:1-14.

Following the service we were able to spend time with the church family saying farewells. Many tears of joy were shed from our church and theirs.

Aaron and Christine had us over for pizza and an opportunity to visit. The “hope to see you soon” and “we’ll miss you” and a few tears were shed as we prepared to leave. Pastor Kevin concluded the evening with prayer and words of encouragement to the McKnight family from the entire Grace family.

It has been an amazing and wonderful trip. We have been able to see God’s hand at work in the Sumpango church. We have also witnessed true servants of the Lord living the Great Commission.

We all appreciate the prayer support for us during this week. If the airlines are on schedule we should be landing in St. Louis around 4:45 this (Monday) afternoon. Getting luggage and catching the bus home should put us back at Grace around 6:00. We will be able to use our cell phones again once we reach Miami. Please pray for safety in travel and continued good health.
