The team arrived safely in  Guatemala City this evening with no problems. We were met at the airport by Aaron and Christine. After a quick trip through customs we filled the back of two vans with luggage and headed for the House of Blessing (HOB). We are preparing for a busy day tomorrow at the Sumpango church. The men will be digging a ditch the length of the church and sealing the side of the building to help prevent leaks. The ladies will be busy at the Feeding Center and other things under Christine’s watchful eye. Pastor Kevin will be bringing the message during the evening service.

One of the highlights of the day happened before we even left the airport in St. Louis. The plane that we were going to board for our trip was bringing back a wounded soldier from Iraq. The USO had all of us holding flags and applauding as he deplaned with his wife. Many shook hands with him and Grandma Dean even jumped in for a hug. It was a proud moment.

Continue to pray for the team as we head out tomorrow.
